Luang Por Parn with his Mother
หลวงพ่อปานกับมารดาของท่าน
LP Parn with his Mother and Father, who he cared for in her old age and times of illness. even though he was abbot of bangnomkho temple. He brought them to the Temple and allowed them to stay in his Guthi, taking care of feeding them, and used to wash his mother's clothes himself, regardless of his High status and amount of work he had to perform, he always still had time to take care of his Mother and Father.
In Buddhism, one's Mother is seen as the most sacred thing in Life, due to the pain she goes through in giving us Birth and the worry and care she has for us as her children.
When praying in Buddhist belief, the lighting of 5 incense sticks has the meaning of dedication to the Triple gem (Buddha Dharma and Sangha)the fourth stick is to dedicate to one's Mother and father, the fifth to the Kroo ba Ajarn, meaning Spiritual Teacher.
